Department for Education signposts CPC Leasing Framework

Recently The Department for Education (DfE) reviewed a wide range of frameworks for all manner of services including: audit services, books and materials, energy and utilities, facilities management and estates, ICT, insurance and risk protection, leasing services, legal services, office supplies, printers, copiers and MFDs, professional services and lastly recruitment.
The services provided have been analysed for compliance with procurement regulations, ease of use, suitability and value for money. The DfE has also considered feedback from schools currently using the frameworks. The DfE has reviewed the products and services made available by suppliers and is now signposting particular frameworks as they offer best practice. This allowed the DfE to update their "deals for schools guidance", which is used to help schools in the UK find services that are available.
Under the ICT and leasing services sections the DfE now recommends CPC frameworks and cites the benefits as “quick and easy with online quotes, offers substantial savings on IT brands.” For the ICT provision and for the education leasing services section “Free quick quote tool available. Ability to quickly compare quotes from suppliers. Fast and easy route to market. Fully evaluated suppliers.”
