Hexagon was looking for a Device as a Service (DaaS) solution provider to simplify both their ordering and return process, while also being able to provide precise asset tracking and cost allocation.

CHG-MERIDIAN offered Hexagon a Device as a Service (DaaS) (also known as Hardware as a Service) solution whereby they could take advantage of a ‘price per seat’ model. This model provides the customer with a transparent overview of the cost of an individual workstation and of their entire IT portfolio. By using Dell Premier Services, Hexagon now have a fully digital procurement process and have therefore increased their efficiency by removing the need for manual order forms. CHG’s asset management system, TESMA® has become the preferred system for Hexagon, using it to monitor both leased and purchased assets. At the end of the DaaS contract, all the assets are collected by CHG and are taken to their technology and service centre whereby the devices undergo Blancco's certified data deletion procedure. Afterwards, the assets are resold in the open market. TESMA® allows Hexagon to keep track of which assets have been collected and erased.
